I'm looking for a nice 430 expansion tank. That is sort of a unique feature on these engines and I'm think about working that back into the build when I'm all done. It might look nice polished up. I've seen a couple go through ebay....isn't the tank and housing that bolts to the intake all one piece?

The tank is not unique to the MEL and was also used on the FE Ford. Also, not all MEL's used them and the tanks seem to be far easier to get than thermostat housings for MEL's that did not use a tank. Hawkrod

My brother is getting 430, trans, and odds and ends from 60 Lincoln. I will ask him to grab the expansion tank. TJR

I have a 60 Premier. Need front glass and some small parts as well as a running 430 for 58-60. Where are you located? Hawkrod

My brother may be able to help you. He has front glass and fender skirts for a 60. The engine is a 2 barrel and runs fine. He couldn't remember mileage. Trans works fine as well. He couldn't pick it up this weekend. He will try this week, rain permitting.
