You don't need one. We had a "Ford" ring compressor for MEL's way back when, but it was harder to use thatn not using one.
The shape of the chamber allows you to slip in the pistons without a compressor. Space your ring correctly (1/3 - 1/3 - 1/3) so there are no gaprs together), push the rings into the piston at the bottom, slide the piston in as far as you can, slowly. Use your finger or a heavy (very flat blade screwdriver)to push the rings into the groove as you slowly tap the piston in. Be very careful to work your way around the rings slowly.
I have put maybe a hundred MEL's together in this fashion and have broken a very few rings in my day.
