Head flow

I just got a set of B9VE heads back from the porter. A street Strip port job yielded the following numbers

Intake: .500 277
.600 287

Exhaust .500 200
.600 208


I doubt any stock FE heads would flow this well with such minimal work

Head Flow

The MEL heads had incredible flow for the 50's. In 1960 we had a set with 2.250 intakes and 2.00 exhaust, we moved the exhaust stem over an 1/8th. After a small amount clean up porting, these heads flowed damn near 310 intake and 265 exhaust. They were real breathers for the day.
