The currently available Fel Pro Overhaul Gasket set (Full Set)FS 7895PT1 for the 58-60 430 does not contain the valve stem oil seals. Is there another gasket manufacturer that can provide a more complete gasket set? Will the Fel Pro Gasket set for the 61-65 which does furnish the valve stem seals work with the 58-60? Is there a source for the intake and exhaust seals only?

I checked the site and their 430 Ford/Lincoln set for 58-60 does not have the valve stem oil seals either, even though their set does have two items the FelPro set does not have.

They are included in Kit No. RS618G

PN 286 (Only one seal shown in Ill)



I am fairly certain FE seals are the same.

The FE's are exactly the same. The early MEL engines had very large valve springs with rotater type retainers that did not always come with valve stem seals. These were junk. The valve seals from the later model will work on the early models.
