Hi
My father has a 1961 Lincoln Continental 430. The right head is broke and we have found a 1963 head. Is that bolt-on? We also have found a head which we are unsure of the year. Is there a easy way to identify which year its from?
Thanks

C6 is for 1966 alright, but not for a 430. Those are 462 heads which are different. The date code looks like 01C9 (march 1, 1969).

There is good discussion at TheLincolnForum.Net regarding mixing 462 and 430 components on a 462. It has good information about the differences between the 430 and 462.
