VACUUM WIPERS

The MEL engne used the oil pump mounted vacuum pump as it was inpracticable to mount a two-stage fuel pump at the MEL fuel pump location.

A FE pump will work (interchangeable)(along with correct oil pump shaft). The wiper motor will not operate properly at low manifold vacuum without assist. That means an electric vacuum pump or going to electric wipers.
