Does anyone know the acceptable lifter bore to lifter clearance? I had to hone my lifter bores because of an oiling system upgrade and im worried that during the honeing process that maybe the clearance was opened up. Please keep in mind that the motor will probly never see any thing above 4800-5000 rpm and that being on a rare ocassion.

Brian.

Not worry. You are going to use roller lifters and with your modifications to the oiling system, you will be getting a **** load of oil. Just hone them out, stick the lifters in and fire that BIG BITCH UP.
