intake manifold 6x2

I do know of a 6x2 that was available last month for a 430. I think it was an Edelbrock unit if memory serves. The guy wanted $400 for it. I'll look for his contact info if you are still interested. I've had a few 8x2's but haven't seen one in a while. I've had the Weiand Dragstars and the Crower U-fabs but have never seen the Cragar Octagas 8x2 model. Does anyone have one or ever seen one? I've only seen them for the 392 Hemi but have been told that they made a few Lincoln versions too.

If nothing else, I've been considering making a limited run of 8x2 log manifolds for the MEL. The finned valve covers are finally in the foundry now and a valley pan is next but a u-fab would be really easy to make. i've done a few for other engines in the past.

Sometimes you can scout around and get a good deal on them. I dug back through the cobweb section of the forum here and found a 6x2 that was still available after a couple of years first offered. I bought it for less than $300. How much are the valve covers going to cost? What make of valve cover are they copied off of?
