514 stroker

No score for this post

I am in process of building a 514 stroker. 4.4 bore and 4.23 stroke. I finally found a 1958 block that would go to 4.4". Now for the 462 crank.
I saw one of these stroker engines in Lake Berryssa, near Napa, many years ago. A flat bottom with a V-drive. Had eight strombergs on it and was chasing everything without a blower off the lake.
I saw what I was told was a stroked 462, In Fresno, but got no details and the roadster it was in would have been squirrly with a small block.
I hope to have mine done by labor day, and will provide a detailed list of parts, contacts, and situations encountered. TJR
