When having my dual exhaust system installed, the installer couldn't use 2 1/2 " pipe from the manifold because of clearance. He had to go 2" down then into 2 1/2/ pipe all the way back. Does anyone see a problem with this? Am I worried for no reason? No room for h pipe either

The 2" will be constrictive but there was no choice. When it hits the 2 1/2" it will move little more quickly.

Did he install a crossover pipe at the usual spot (before the resonators)?

The clearance from the manifold is soo tight that it barley clears the pitman arm and throttle shaft going up to the carb, kinda scary.... No crossover tube was used, no resonators either, 2 straight through 2 1/2" magnaflow mufflers. Should there be a crossover somewhere in the back>?

"Should there be a crossover somewhere in the back?"

On the slabside LINC, the crossover was installed well to the rear of the exhaust just ahead of the resonator placement. It needs some type of crossover to balance the exhaust pulses (even this far back if necessary).
