Hey,

Is it known how many 58 Mercurys came with the Super Marauder engine--the 400hp 6v?

As far as I know (have researched), the exact number assembled is not known. The option was not released until APR 58 (late release) so many are over the counter conversions I would imagine as Bill Stroppe released these as kits and I am sure extra pieces were manufactured to sell as service replacement parts.
