Recently over this past weekend I was able to aquire a 430 Ford engine. I purchased it at a local auction in the central Ohio area where they were selling a 1964 Ford Thunderbird. From the information I was given from the seller is that it came out of an 1958 Lincoln contenintial. It has been garaged kept for over 25 years and is not completely assembled but from what information I was given most everything is there. Honestly I don't know much about motors and have no personal use for it. I would like to see it put to good use though.

The 1958 430 engines had larger ports than later engines. Would you please measure the intake and exhaust ports for me if they are open as the engine sits. Thank you very much.
