Well, I picked the powerplant for my chopped and channeled 32 ford. Its a 1959 Lincoln 430 with a big isky solid lifter cam, old Crower u-fab 6x2 intake, and a joe hunt magneto.
What i need your help in is what parts are interchangeable with the FE series engine. And i need a set of valve covers for my project where could i find a set. Thanks for your future help.

Marc

Most of the valvetrain is interchangeable (not cam). The FE adjustable rocker arms, the shafts, etc. The distributor is supposedly interchangeable.

That Crower intake is going to be a bear on the street..

As for rocker covers, MERC made a custom aluminum set as a part of their Super Marauder option in 1958. Finding a set and being able to afford them will be a trick. The 58/60 MERC OEM covers are stamped and have the M on them. There were aftermarkets made (CAL CUSTOM-OFFENHAUSER) and you may find a set of those through a specialty shop like VINTAGE SPEED. I am fairly certain that LINC put chromed covers on their 3 x 2 package in 1958.
