......Dave gave me a green light for sharing info regarding his 58 Lincoln conv. Here a few lines from what he wrote to me......
....." Thought someone might be interested in photos of my 1958 Lincoln conv with the 3x2 option. It has taken nine years of research and finding parts to come this far.., still haven't found an original fuel pump"................
..........."The setup is in a 1958 Lincoln Continental convertible I am restoring..still needs final paint..[PPG Concept "Claret Poly"..a rather odd 58 Lincoln color that I like]..car has black interior and a new tutone top [black with white sides] with gold crests which was available as an option in'58"............
............."I got rather involved with the Super Marauder TriPower..have been researching it for some years, seems to be one of the rarest and controversial multi carb setups of the fifties...I thought the Bendix ElectroJet Fuel Injection system for Chrysler in 1958 was the rarest and most undocumented..I have changed my mind.
Thanks again...will send some further info and pics.........Dave [58lincoln]."
Looks like more more pics to come. Gooood!!

I am not 100% certain, but it seems there are differeences between the LINC and MERC 3 x 2 option.
I believe this to be a dedicated 58 LINC restoration (owner somewheres in Scandinavia as I remember). It uses a regular fuel pump, inline glass bowl filter and fuel log instead of the MERC SUPER MARAUDER pump and lines.
I have the 1958 TSB that describes the installation, but it only refers to the MERC installation.
Regardless, it is a beautiful execution.
