Hi KULTULZ, thanks again for much information you give me through the MEL forum. Last weeks I was on a motorbikeride for holidays so I have less chance for using the internet.

Now I am back in my shop. Me and my brother own a small shop for repair Harley and BMW Motorcycles and with our maschineshop we rebuild cylinderheads, blocks and internals for automobile garages, too.

We live in Berlin,Germany. We get our 1959 Mercury in bad condition from a customer. All parts are there, think this car is totaly original. The missing front hood chrome, letters and ornament were on the backseat. The antenna was
broken and the missing lighter I get on ebay for 1.50.
Our target is to rebuild the engine, check the trany and get the brakes in good condition.

We would have much fun to get on the 1/8 mile on events like
www.hotheadseast.com or www.roadrunners-paradise.de

Special events for cars build before 59/61.

On these events the race and the party makes much fun.

With these email I send you (a photo) greetings from me and my brother.

Keep in contact, Olli and KIKO.

Olli and KIKO,

I posted your E-Mail here (hope you don't mind) to show everyone your 59 MERC. Nice cars aren't they?

Keep in touch and keep us abreast of your progress. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to ask.

Theo, the origionator of this board is in GERMANY. I am not sure of the location but I am sure he will welcome you guys aboard also.

Thanx For The Photo! Those cold adult beverages look inviting...

KULTULZ (Gary)

.....It's unny to meet your home town folks in the net LOL. I moved out of the Berlin Kreutzberg ghetto right into the outscirts, but I'm in Berlin every day.
So you guys shoot me an e-mail if you need some info on carriers and "how to habdle your stuff. I imported tons of auto parts by plain U.S. postal service. Surface takes about 6-7 weeks. Air is between 1 and 2 weeks. Actually it depends on how fast the sender gets his work done. Most of the times it's the seller who delays the deal.
I can't remember how much my last crank was. It went air and consequently I had to pick it up at the customs at Tegel airport.
Again lemme know by e-mail what I can do for you.
