57 lincoln engine

I have been offered A 57 Lincon engine out of a ford bus I can get it for next to nothing, havent seen it but Ive been told its not a Y block would it be A MEL?

Here is an explanation/description of the engine series.

You need to get the VIN off the bus chassis to see what size engine it is.

Lot of performance potential in one.

The 1957 MERC TURNPIKE CRUISER (368CI) was a 4 X 2 rated at 355HP. The 4V was rated at 290HP.
