Is the rocker arms and pushrods of a 430cid interchangable with a 462cid ???

Valvetrain Geometry

The length of push rods are the same;

Standard 9.767" L

Then you have an .060" U/S and O/S for valve adjustments.

The early MEL 58/60 used the same rocker as the FE. In 1961 it went to a specific LINC PN. I don't know what the change was about. But the push rods remained the same length.

FYI...The early FE hydraulic rockers had a 1.73 ratio whereas the adustible had a 1.76" ratio. I do not know the ratio of the later LINC specific rockers.

So you need to allow all of this to retain proper valvetrain geometry.

MEL had a lot of valvetrain changes in initial release but something else happened in 1961. I do not know what that is yet.
