Is the 430 timing chain the same as an FE chain? I am not too fond of stock timing chains and much preffer to use a double roller timing chain---even in a stock application. I know they makea double roller for FE, or do they happen to make a performance chain for the MEL?

CLOYES'S. They would offer the best quality service replacement for the 430. I was going to contact them and inquire if they make (or did make) rollers but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Also be advised that many FE valvetrain components can be adapted to the MEL.
