Can anyone tell me if I can remove the pump from the front of the 430? or do I have to make hose to feed itself? or can I just leave it on and do nothing?

Crank Driven P/S Pump

If you do not need P/S, it would be best to remove the pump and reservoir. You will have to change the front timing cover to one from a belt driven P/S pump.

If you operate the pump without fluid, it will burn itself out and weld the pump drive onto the crankshaft snout.

Will you need another front cover or do you have one?

No, it is unique to the MEL. How soon are you planning the swap?

Are you going to use the origional 3/S or just upgrade to a 3.03 right away? If someone reassembled a trans and forgot the shift forks, I think I would leave it alone...
