450 HP is not too tough to make. Neither is 550 ft lbs of torque with thses engines. Keeping it together is the challenge.
As you have a C-6 trans, a 2000 stall converter and a shift kit will help. No more than 2000 stall. Having the trans rebuilt to accomodate the extra power would be best. Standard stuff available anywhere. Don't forget high stregth u-joints. You will need them.
You should also consider a gear change for the rear end. No more than 3.55 or the car becomes unusable for the freeway.
I wonder if you actually have room under the hood for a high rise intake. A low restriction air cleaner would be a benefit.
You may need a vacum reservior due to the roller cam so that your power brakes still work.
I would really caution you about headers. They will have to be custom made. You can spend alot of time and money on a marginal improvement. I have done it for 57 fairlane, but there was plenty of room, and it was still alot of work. In retrospect, it was not worth it. Leaks at the flange were a big problem.
We ground out the inside of the exhaust manifolds and ran 2 1/2 pipe back to "Hemi" mufflers. Cheap, quiet and flowed well. There are better mufflers available now.
Good luck and keep us posted. TJR
