Response to Edsel trans conversion to dual range

A DUAL-RANGE TELETOUCH was proposed but never produced. There was one production LINC TELETOUCH that was DUAL-RANGE and it had six buttons. FORD had so much touble, that as you know the complete system was dropped after 1958. The MERC was cable operated. It would take some fabrication for a CRUISE-O-MATIC installation, maybe eliminating L. You would then have D2 and D1.
