You can get cam reground at Oregon cam for 70.00 american, to any FE ford spec. E-mail at orcam@pacifer.com. I am having cam reground to 428 SCJ specs so it can be used on street. 220/230 and .505 lift. Don't spend alot on piston if you don't have too. Big gains come from cam and pocket port on the heads. The actual ports are plenty big. Just knock the valve guide casting down and smooth the flow into the valve seat a little. It will run strong. Try to find an old tri power manifold or a U-fab manifold on e-bay. They do pop up from time to time. Watch those transmissions, not too strong. Try to find a way to get a 66 or newer C-6 behind engine with a 2000 stall converter. That will be plenty strong. TJR
