Response to No stamped date codes on the 410 blocks.....

 

The date code will be located on the left front skirt. Early MEL is identified differently than what we are used to seeing.

Engineering raised the deck height to reduce CR as it was too high for production engines. There are other referring TSB's covering this and I will try and post them. There is no deck height given or how to arrive at it in MEL Service Literature (that I have found). I even obtained a spec sheet from the engine builders assoc. and it was not given there either.

Somewheres on the early start of this forum, I posted these TSB's. The design of this forum makes it difficult to find earlier info and also to talk with one another. If one replies to a much earlier post, it is not moved and no one is likely to read it.
