Response to 383 Mercury NOS pistons Sterling..........

"See picture of the top of the piston, for high compression??"

These are NEW pistons for 1958 and 1959 Mercury cars with a 383 engine. These pistons are for 4.300 bore Mercury engines. They have a .094 SLANT-STEP head. The comp. dist. is 2 and 23/64 inches. The length is 4 and 15/64 inches. The ring groves are 5/64 top 3/32 second and 3/16 oil ring. They have a .9755 pin. These are new pistons from an old stock. They are Sterling pistons numbers 225P and 226P indicating left and right side on the engine. I have these pistons in STD and .030 oversize. You are bidding on a set of eight (8) pistons with pins but NO RINGS in the size of your choice.

The dome is of correct MEL design.
