Response to ID'ing MEL engines

Edsel used the MEL engine for only one year and that was 1958. After 1958, they dropped the MEL and went strictly with the FE engine. In addition, all 410's had the E-475 (which stood for torque)marking on the valve cover. If your Edsel is a 58 and it has a MEL, it is definetly a 410.
