Response to What about balancing?

"Will a FE flywheel bolt up to the 462 flange and be balanced right or with that have to be rebalanced?" The 65/72 LINC-MERC MPC shows the 65 430 and 66/68 462 as taking the same flexplate. So balance is not an issue. It also shows flexplate reinforcement ring B9AZ 6A366-B being used on either and this is a 1959 FORD FE PN. So the crank flange mounting pattern will be the same.
