Response to GREAT INFORMATION!

They used the same style of the 352's left side bottom in 1958. They had to turn the surge tank to make room for the fuel pump in the 1959 production models and moving the fuel pump left room for the A/C compressor.

The Carter AFB was the only carb used on the Lincoln 430 engines in the Thunderbirds in 1959. The Holly's were left-overs from the 57 312 Thunderbird Specials and they were tried on the 58 T-Bird 430 engines.

Exception:

Holly's were used on the EXPORTED 352 T-Birds in 1959 and the domestic 352's came with AUTO_LITE 4100 carbs.
