Response to Re: Cylinder Head Identification

You were asking for some assembly details earlier. Did you or did you have the engine redone? Did the machinist allow for the valve interference (flycutting valve reliefs is one option)?

EDSEL, even though assigned to the MEL DIVISION, was sold through a separate dealer chain and that must be why their TSB's were not incuded with LINC-MERC (occaisional reference to EDSEL though).

I have attempted to buy EDSEL information (E-BAY) but am usually out bidded as there are die hard EDSEL lovers out there.

I need a 1958 Shop Manual (only year used 410), Parts Catalog and hopefully EDSEL TSB's of the period to fully understand how the 410 was assembled and any problems EDSEL had with it.

Where have you EDSEL guys been getting your engine tech info prior to this board?
