Engine Choice

Rebuild kits are fairly easy to obtain for the 430/462. Not much in the way of speed equipment though, as very little was offered initially.

It's a toss up. The 351W or 460 would make a better pickup engine (especially with FI) as things are more easily found for them, but on the other hand there is nothing wrong with a MEL. Tremendous torque motor.

Do you need a source for an overhaul kit?
