With this new information (pad mount locations), it is going to be necessary to know the engine mount location(s) of each model. The 59/60 LINC and BIRD were assembled on the same line (WIXOM). One would surely think they both received the same engine assembly and the mounts were the same.

I think CHEV should lose the designation "Mystery Motor" for their first 427 and the term transferred to the MEL Series.
