Response to 462 pistons no good for a 430. I think....
 

I have searched for all of this information and have not found it. FORD released it to rebuilders and there has to be a chart or text somewheres.

I am fairly sure you are correct on the deck height and pin measurement. Maybe he can find a 462 crank and buy stock 462 pistons?

Another question...How would you measure deck height on a MEL as it has a ten degree chamfer on the deck surface?
