Response to 430 in a 58 ford.. whats needed?

 

The 430 will sit in the '58 cradle as the FE (332/352) came in the car and the mount pads will be the same. You will need a set of FE insulators.

An FE bellhousing will bolt to the engine and a FE (352/390) flywheel will go to the cranksahft. You would then use whatever pressure plate will fit the chosen flywheel and matching disc spline with whatever trans you decide to use.

Pretty straightforward swap.
