I hope we aren't doing anything to hasten that! There was some aftermarket development of these motors from 1958-1960 then it waned. There was not anything wrong witht he engine, just fell out of favor. If you recall the 429-460 was pretty much the same, some development in the early years, then almost nothing until the 80's.
