Response to That's the one, except.........

 

The snout has to be clean and deburred. I simply tap the sleeve on with a small block of wood.

Come to think of it...It wouldn't be that difficult to make an installation tool (press on) from a balancer installer.

You would have to use the oversize seal...the only trouble is it comes in a kit with the sleeve, seal and front cover gasket.

I Am Presently Looking For Any Factory/Aftermarket Parts/Information Regarding The MEL Engine Series

Also Older FORD Special Service Tools
