I just got my box of parts back from Quality Plating in Sterling ILL and they plated right over the pits and holes in every piece except the one that had no pits to start with! Seven pieces cost me $452.00 and it was a waste of money. They should change their name to "Pits Plated."
Next time please use Precision Plating in Quincy, IL., They do good quality chrome plating. They are busy, so, sometimes slow turn-around, but, worth any wait. Just my 2-cents worth. Marc Tower, Effingham, IL., 217-868-2462.
I contacted them with my displeasure and they told me that they cover the pits and bumps with nickel. I told them I paid for show quality and for that type of money the pits and bumps needed to be ground out and filled. They told me to send them back which I will do once I get the use of my shoulder back after surgery yesterday.
