Comfort

For me, its about comfort.

Your right, once you've gotten used to going without underwear, wearing them again is a nightmare. I tried wearing underpants a few times back in my early freeballing days. I figured, what with all the styles that were available there might be something I might actually like. I tried expensive boxer briefs, silk boxers, and bikini briefs, and could never keep the damn things on for more than a couple of hours. They all got thrown away. On one occasion, when running errands around town, I actually went to the mens room and tossed a pair in the trash!

Other than my little experimentation phase, its been years since I've owned any. Commando style is more comfortable to me.
