if network 54 could have message numbers which would remain constant i.e. number 1 for the very first message in the system, 2 for the second, and so on; instead they re-number the messages every time a new message is entered. yahoo-groups is an example.
i looked i today's list of old messages at today's number 20 in the last half of the 500's to find:
"What styles are in fashion? View Thread - NakedBudd on Nov 3"
