Response to Camshafts profiles?

1. Do not open the ports to match the gasket. No need to open them up bigger than they already are. It is okay to match the intake and head ports to each other but don't go bigger to match the gasket. Carb spacers are a fine tuning tool. Try open and 4 hole. You won't know which one is better until you try.

2. Dual pattern cams will definatly work better than singe profile on a cleveland. Comp does not have a prefered profile for cleveland engines.

3. Holley double pumpers will almost always make more power than an Edelbrock if you are looking for a good track carb. I personally don't care for the Demon carbs, but they are still better than Edelbrock.
